object not found error message

I am using Outlook 2003 on XP Professional. I am trying to connect to MS Mail Post Office which is located on Windows NT Server 4.0. I can see the post office list and able to pick from the list, generate the message, but when I hit the send button, I get an error message,"ms word....object not found". I can receive email from anyone on list and I can reply or forward, but i just can't send. Anyone have this problem
