Never cut & paste from the net ...
1) unless you have permission to do so. Otherwise it is probably a
copyright violation.
2) C&P brings over more than just an image, it brings over an OLE object
that may contain code or links you do not want. It also makes for large
presentations.
What version of PowerPoint are you running? 2000 and before could not
rotate many image formats.
