Recently we began to notice that some of our 50 or so users began to
experience an issue where images within HTML email sent by other users of
Outlook 2003 would not display until replied to. I have been able to
roughly narrow this down to the use of MS Word as the email editor. If a
user is using the built-in Outlook email editor, the images carry across
just fine!
Switch to MS word as the editor and SOME users cannot view the image unless
they hit reply and some not even then.
I suspect this to be an issue either with MS Word 2003 or slightly possible
an issue with IE.
Anyone else come across this problem? Any known fixes? hours of google has
proven fruitless.
