OE "removes access from unsafe attachments"

I don't know why. I didn't ask it to. And it is
restricting my access to mail I need to see. How do I turn
off this function? I have had some virus and worm problems
but Norton is now on the job. What should I do?

Launch OE and click on Tools > Options > Security [tab]. Under Virus Protection section, uncheck "Do not allow attachments.....", then click on the Apply & OK buttons.
