OE6.0 locks-up

When I open my mail for download,enter the password the download window
locks up.It is password prot and I do a ctrl-alt-del several times to unlock
it re-enter the password and it usually works as it should.Sometimes tho
after a ctrl-alt-del the comp restarts-I have OE6 and IE6
Very annoying prob any help appreciated
