When typing text in Word, the text gets replaced instead of inserted, where
can that be changed?

When typing text in Word, the text gets replaced instead of inserted, where
can that be changed?

Hit the Insert key on your keyboard.

Or, way down at the very bottom of your Word window, you'll see little
boxes with the text REC, TRK, EXT, and OVR. Some of those may be greyed
out, but OVR is probably black and available. Double-click it to make it
unavailable (grey).
