Office 2000 and Windows XP

Sorry, I don't have an answer for you. I am having the
same problem. I ran uninstall and XP tries to re-install
when I click on an Office file. If you get a answer let me
know.

I think there is something in the registry that is
referring the the office installing files to the D drive,
but I don't know which entry it is.

I have the same problem. Office wants to 'configure...' every time it's opened. I have checked the registry entries per MS Knowlege Base Article 265194 and they are all there. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have had the same problem. The only solution I was able to come up with
was to uninstall and remove it and then reinstall it.

I believe this occurs when installing some programs.
