Is it possible to extract the fonts from my old Office 2000 disc and install
them for use on my newly installed Office 2003?

No. You apparently chose "typical" rather than "full" installation
when installing Office 2003. Additional fonts are installed when
using the "full installation" option.

Possibly.
In my Office 2000 Premium the .ttf fonts are held in the folder
\Photdrw\Fonts in one of the CDs.
Just install them via Control Panel-Fonts.
