Office 2000 Powerpoint cannot start, please help...

Hi;
We installed Office 2000 in a Windows2000 (SP4) machine.
When login as a domain user, all Office products working fine except
Powerpoint, when start PowerPoint, CPU usage 100% forever, need to stop the
process.
Tried start in safe mode (powerpnt /safe), same result.

Tried login windows safe mode by using local administrator, it work, domain
admin login, it work.
Only the particular domain user login cannot work.

Tried reinstall Office 200, no different.
Remove Office 2000, re-boot, run Office 2k Eraser, re-boot, install Office
2000, same result, PowerPoint still not working.

Anyway I can install Office 2000 from scratch?? or re-init Office 2000??

Hi;
We found a way to get around it, double click a PowerPoint presentation and
it open straight away.
This means we cannot just open PowerPoint only, have to find an existing
presentation to open before we can create a new one.

Any suggestion for this?

just bad luck???
