Office 2000 Pro restoration after XP Home Reinstall

D

David Hazelton

I have a dilemma - my Office 2000 Pro CD blew up, contrary to MythBuster's
conclusions. Shortly after that, my system developed some profile problems
that I could only solveby doing a new install of XP over old. My Office
installation is intact, I believe, but won't launch. I think it is just not
registered anymore. Am I right? and if so, how do I redo Office without a CD?
Registry fixes? BTW, all the existing profiles are now username.WINDOWS, and
the old Admin account cannot be opened. Help!!

I don't get your question completely but my guess is that you won't succeed
without having an Office CD. You should obtain a new one by contacting MS
using one of the phone numbers at microsoft.com/usa or
microsoft.com/worldwide.
