Office 2000 silent deploy

Hi,

i'm trying to find out how to do a silent install of office 2000. i've
been given lots of tools from the resorsce kit but they seem to do the
same job as a few comand line switches. is there a way to install
office silently without it asking for the product key? please help as
it will significantly speed up my day when installing office 2000 on
50 pc's.

Hi, Robin,

The Resource Kit is the best source of information about how to deploy.

Basically, you should be able to create an administrative installation point
on a file server using setup /a, then run installation on the workstations
from there. You shouldn't see the prompt for product key on the workstation
installations.
