Office 2000 with Windows XP

I had to reinstall Windows XP on my machine, which in turn wiped everything
that was on there. I'm trying to reinstall Office 2000 but I get some
errors. First, it says "Setup failed to locate a valid qualifying product on
your machine". I select C Drive. Then I get "Error 1608. Could not find
previously installed compliant products on machine" Any help would be
appreciated.

You are using an Office upgrade disk & you need to show your previous Office
version's cd. Just put it in the cd drive and point to it. This is why you
should always keep old software.
