We have a enterprise license for Microsoft Office. Some of our installs ask
each new user who uses a Office product for the first time to enter their
name/initials. Office is smart enough to read the windows network userid
and autocomplete the user part. Other installs seem to just put the company
name in for everyone. I run a login script so everytime they login we can
do audits of their machines and registry pushes/updates.
The reason I need to force it to get each user's name is because when ppl
are in a Powerpoint it gets to be a pain to try and figure out who is in
there with a Company name. If all the installs had the user's network id in
there we could easily see who has us locked out of our files.
Thanks in advance for any info,
