I have an centralized installation of Office 2003. and since a few days each
time when I start MS Access (only then!) a dialog occurs says that it is
preparing to install Office 2003 and at a certain point in time a dialog box
shows up, telling me
"This featire you are trying to use is on a network resource that is
unavailable.
Click OK to try again, or enter an alternate path to a folder containing
the installation package 'PRO11.MSI' in the text below."
The text line then contains the correct string to the network resource which
IS available. So I can also copy the networ resource content to a local file
and start but this does not help.
interesting is: MSACCESS.EXE is still on my Office Folder and needless to
say, that this worked for months till now.
What did screw up? Where is this Installer state located in the registry?
Any help?
