Office 2003 and Outlook 2000

I hope somebody could advise me if there are any issues by updating
Office 2000 upto Office 2003 but keeping Outlook 2000. The reasoning
behind this is we use a CRM system that is integrates with Outlook
2000 but currently Outlook 2003 is not supported.

I look forward to any comments.
