Office 2003 Appearance

Greg

I upgraded from Office 2000 to Office 2003 running Windows
XP. I prefer the Windows Classic look, especially when it
comes to the application menu buttons. I have set display
properties accordingly, but still get the bubbly look of
Windows XP and Office 2003 (yuck!). According to Office
2003 help, I should be able to use Windows Classic display
setting to see plain, dimensionless menu buttons in the
applications. Might this be an installation problem?
Thanks, Greg

Hi Greg,

Make sure you have Windows XP SP1 installed,

Office 2003 looks different when SP1 is not installed.

Take care,

Hi Arie,

Thanks for the reply. SP1 is installed along with other
updates. Any other ideas?

Thanks, Greg
