Exchange 2003 - Outlook 2003. I have set my laptops to use the cached
option for Exchange account, but am unclear on the best practice for my
desktop users?

Any advice?

Cached mode will take time to download all of the information when first
accessing the Exchange server. Otherwise, there is really no functional
difference and your users can keep working if the server burps or goes down.
