Office 2003 Does not function

Hi:
I have been having problems with Office 2003. It initially started with
Outlook 2003. I could not open e-mails. I ran AVG anti-virus, Ad-aware and CW
Shredder and everything was ok. Now when I open Word, it states that there is
no default printer and can't print. I did a repair and now I cannot access
Outlook at all. It states that I have to access via "Safe Mode". My system is
Win XP Home(SP2).

Well why didn't you install a printer (or set an existing one to default)
instead of making the issue worse?

Miss Tick:

I did not make the issue worse. The application was not recognizing a
default printer in the first place. Before I did the repair I tried to set a
default printer and was unable to do so. The applications (Office) are
corrupted, not the printing application. Common sense was to see if a repair
corrected the problem in Office. If I open Wordpad I can print to any printer
I want with no problems.
Additionally, the whole system is running slow, not just Office.
