Office 2003 editions mix-up

Is it possible to install Office applications from two different Office
editions on the same desktop? For example: Word and Excel from Office 2003
Professional and Outlook from Office Basic edition 2003?

Would the applications work accordingly to their own edition features set
(esp. IRM features)?
