Office 2003 Ent Ed - Clip art hangs Word

Has anyone seen a problem in Word [from Office 2003 Ent Ed] related to
inserting clipart where MSTORDB.EXE fires up and hangs Word?

The first problem I noticed was after installing. I tried to let the clip
art organizer automatically scan my system for media files. This ran for
over 10 hours without moving the progress bar beyond the 1st step. I had to
kill the MSTORDB.EXE and MSTORE.EXE clip organizer apps.

The next scenario - which may be the result of whatever is causing the
initial clipart problem - is: run Word, insert a clip art, then attempt to
close word without saving. The application will attempt to close, but will
hang. When you look in task manager, MSTORDB.EXE is consuming 100% of the
CPU and doesn't come back.

This is occurring on an XP Pro box, with 512 MB of memory, with a
fresh/clean install and includes the latest Office 2003 SP1 update.

Thanks in advance for any help,
Bob

Thanks for the quick reply. I tried this, but it still hung and pegged the
CPU. There was an additional update listed for Visio 2002, but I'm not
using that. Could that or an old McAffee install affect the clip organizer?

thanks
