Office 2003 ERROR 1402 (WinXP)

After installing Office 2003

i keep getting the following error

ERROR 1402:

hkey_current_user\software\microsoft\office\common\11.0


cant find/write

been looking this up on the internet but keep hitting sites that tell me all
about win9x en win2000 yet winXP is never mentioned..

Can you guys help me out?
