Office 2003 install does not complete

I am trying to reinstall Office Student and Teacher Edition 2003. All seems
to go well but it doesn't complete. Powerpoint and Excel seem to be
completely installed, Word is partial and I cannot insert clipart - as soon
as I try it hangs. (This problem is what caused the attempted
re-installation in the first place.) Does anyone have any suggestions?

Office 2003 Setup up remains, no activity in the progress bar (completely
blank), nothing for current action. Only way out of it is to close the

Hi Elaine,

Have you tried completely uninstalling it first (Control Panel :
Add/Remove Programs). If not, make sure you have all your license keys
(or what ever other rubbish you need to re-install) and then uninstall
it fully, then reboot.

Then re-install and wait on this progress screen for an hour before
giving up.

If this doesn't work, it's possible your computer (and/or MSI) is messed up.
