A couple problems with Office 2003 installation:
Corporate Environment
1.) If I choose "Upgrade" option, from Office XP to 2003,
it says it will remove any previous versions during the
upgrade, but on mine it doesn't. Office 2000/XP is still
listed in Add/Remove Programs which I have to go into and
uninstall it, unlike what it says in Article # 826319.
2.) On ANY installation of Office 2003 (clean or upgrade)
I get an error when launching Outlook, "Cannot find
Extend.dat". What happens is that in C:\Documents and
Settings\LocalService\Application Data\Microsoft" the
Outlook folder is an unrecognized format, so I delete it
and then re-launch Outlook. It then rebuilds that folder
properly and works fine afterward....So far..
