Office 2003 keeps runing install - help please

Hi
just upgraded to Office 2003 Pro from office XP, all works OK but the PC
every now and again will flash up an MSI installer box the A: drive hunts
and then it goes away and the pc continues this happen even when no office
allocations are open!

The same thing can be triggered by going into outlook and opening an email
the hovering the mouse over an address in the to or from line! so I have
turned this off under other-persons option but why does it not just install
what ever and the stop trying to install it again and again?

Also I don't know if its related but I can't run the auto upgrade option
from MS's website so I guess the MSI files have gone wrong, but how can I
reset them and stop the auto/ install on demand from running?

Thanks

Adrian

It just got worse, each and every time I reboot I get the a windows
installer box stating it preparing to install but it either just hangs or it
access the A drive and goes, but either way it stops my pc running the items
in startup.

I have no idea what its trying to install but it all started with Office
2003.

How can I find out what it's trying to install and how can I stop it from
running each time I reboot?

OS is XP Pro

I am experiencing the very same error on a number of machines. I have
not found a solution yet.

is this a known bug?
