Office 2003 Licensing & Activation

M

mg

My organization has an enterprise license for Office 2003
Professional Enterprise. I've already installed and
activated Office 2003 at work.

From my reading of the license, I'm entitled to also
install the product at home. I am the sole user of the
work and home computer. The example given for the second
computer is a laptop, but it doesn't HAVE to be a laptop
right?

a second related question: If I leave this organization
someday (you never know) and purchase my own copy of
Office 2003 Pro (not Enterprise), how do I proceed from
there? Do I have to uninstall Office 2003 Pro Enterprise
and reinstall/reactivate using my new Office 2003 CD? Or
simply call Micrsoft and give them my new product key?

Thanks for any help or pointers to where I can find a
clear answer. Licensing is now more challenging than
technical issues. <s>

I use non Microsoft products wherever possible which requires no activation.

I use Netscape 7.2 as my default browser which has everything I need for my work.

I believe in good Financial Management!! I do not believe in enriching rich jerks!

Well John, something tells me I won't find answers to my questions at this
site, but I have to at least agree with you in principle and thank you as
the only one in this newsgroup to respond to my request for help.

Soon we'll have to pay support to decipher license issues. ;-)
