Office 2003 OLA vs. Office 2003 personal copy

When I was a member of a network LAN, my administrator
installed Micorsoft 2003--an Open License Agreement
version. I have recently moved and have purchased my own
personal copy of Micorsoft 2003 since I cannot update it
with the original CD. Do I need to unistall the OLA
version of Office 2003 and then install my personal copy?
I would like just to simply install my copy over the one
that is already on the computer. That way I would
preserve my settings and the personal information
contained in my contacts, distribution lists, etc. What
should I do? Thanks!

Chris,
Do I first go to the control panel and use the remove/add
program feature to remove Office 2003 and then run the
Uninstall Cleanup Utility or do I simply use the Unistall
cleanup utility without using the Add/Remove feature?
Thanks,
Joe

P.S. I have the .pst file in a separate folder on the
hard drive. Is that okay or should I move it to a jump
drive?
