Office 2003 Transfer Problem

I bought a laptop with Vista on it. However, I
can't seem to find my Office 2003 cd, so I put all the files on an
ipod and transferred them to the new laptop. When I try to
run Word it says "Operating system not configured to run this
program." What does this mean? Buy another copy of 2003?

You cannot transfer an app, since installing an app not only places files in
multiple folders but also appends entries throught the registry.
If you are able to provide proof of purchase replacement media is available
via MS, for retail editions only, otherwise you will have to purchase.
