Unless you specifically uninstalled O2003 its still there. It doesnt
uninstall when the trial expires.
It is installed in ............Microsoft Office\Office11 folder
And should be shown in Add/Remove Software as Microsoft Office 2003

You've just nailed my problem though - I never installed the trial
version, it is soemwhere lurking in the machine, and so it does not
appear on the uninstall menu......so I can't do a normal "uninstall"
and I'm stuck!

Any other ideas?

Thanks a lot for the help

Then I believe you would have to contact your OEM / PC supplier for specific
instructions.
I'm assuming you have an Office 11 Folder

The registry entries and files will be left in other folders so it wont get
rid of the problem, and will make it worse.
What Microsoft Office ** entries are shown in the Add/Remove Programs
dialogue?
Do you have a trial edition CD amongst the stuff that was supplied with your
PC?
