Office 2003/XP doc opening in Office 2000

Hi, I have read the other posts, and tried the compatibility options
and Save options, but both didn't work. So, please bear with me. I
created document in office 2000/XP. No tables in this document. Took
the document to Office 2003/XP. Created some tables. Now, I take the
document back to Office 2000, and all the BOLD text in the tables
became not BOLD, and all the not BOLD text in the tables became BOLD.

If this is related to compatibility option or save option, kindly tell
me exactly which box to check or uncheck in which tab.

thanks,
asimo.

Hi Suzanne,
The only problem is it is the same document I am opening in Office
2000 and Office 2003, not two different documents where I am trying to
copy paste. In fact, I cannot copy paste because my Office 2003 machine
doesn't have office 2000 and vice-versa.

Also, the link below mentions styles, but not Bold. But I guess they
are related.

Lastly, is there any easy way to toggle bold (i.e. select text, and
make bold not bold, and not bold as bold)?

Any help would be appreciated.

thanks,
asimo.

The only thing I can think of that might have a bearing here is varying
definitions of the "table styles" or "Table AutoFormat." What happens if you
select the text and press Ctrl+Spacebar? Does it all become bold or all not
bold?

Hi,
In office 2000/XP, when I select the text in the table and press
ctrl+spacebar, the text goes from "Normal Arial 12pt" to "Normal Times
New Roman 10pt". Also, all the text becomes not bold.

thanks,
asimo.
