Office 2003

P

Paul B.

I am currently using Office 2000 and want to upgrade to
Office 2003. However, I have several integrated
applications, such as QuickBooks Pro 2003 that I do not
want to lose integration capabilities.

Do you know if I can install Office 2003 and keep my
Office 2000 version loaded to maintain my integrated
application interfaces?

Or, will Office 2003 keep the interfaces?

Paul:
I am looking to see if I can find a way to integrate
Quickbooks 2003 with Office 2000's small business manager
to synchronize customer data and balances, in particular.
If you have a reply that might help me, please forward it.
I will watch this new thread, but previously I have been
able to integrate Peachtree with SBM through the filter
available from Microsoft. However, I have not seen one for
QB's 2003 versions.
As I am a new user of Quickbooks, if this is the type of
application you are seeking info for, I would appreciate
you sharing any knowledge as it comes to the front of your
brain or inbox, whichever comes first!
Thanks,
Steve F

you may keep office 2000 with the exception of Outlook as only one version
of outlook can exist at the same time on the same machiine.

Hi Steve,

The MS Office 2000 Small Business Tools were
discontinued after the 2000 version. Any updates
for the filters for Quickbooks and the other apps
were furnished to MS by the companies that produce
those apps. You may want to check the Quickbooks
support website to see if they have an updated filter
available.
