I agree, but who is the troll your talking about. Milly seems to be a well
known person and the other guy seemed to have a genuine question, that i
would also like answered, so whose the troll?

It would have been a genuine question without that.

Sorry I still don't get it. I'm sure your right, I didn't look at his

mean what is the point of asking that kind of question, usually trolls say
things which kind of stir up arguments or debates or something, but that
seemed a good question, I mean I have not heard of 2005 and I've got 2003,
which suggests there might be an update, considering the one before 2003 was
xp and 2002 respectively. Seems a genuine question, so the question
suggested to me it wasn't a troll. However, I'm sure your much more clued up
when spotting trolls. I guess because I thought it was a good question I
assumed it couldn't have come from a troll :)

The next version of Office is widely speculated to ship when Microsoft
Windows Longhorn ships next year. When it actually ships is a matter of
great speculation among websites, pundits, and would be Microsoft watchers.

No one knows for sure but I would bet sometime in 2006, not this year.

Gr8, now at least I can be up to date for a year I hope :). I sometimes find
myself wondering just what more there is to invent when it comes to
Office.

:
Oh unless you see the "doze" part meaning windows users are Dozey? That is
the only connection I can possibly see, I see it more
as just spelling slang that people use..

Like Wassup.

How yuz doing... yah I am da man

That kind of thing... this kind of txt like spek just is the fashion with
younger folk, I didn't see the question being troll like in my experience,
an ddidn't see the spelling as trollish, unless it was meant as a "linux vs
windows" dig..but if it was it was very subtle and went right over my head.

H

Howard Kaikow

The change this troll is concerned about is the further .NET-izing of
windoze office.

There is nothing more to invent. Most people will never need anything
beyond Office 2000. Many are still happily using Office 97. When it
comes to software, "up to date" is just another way of spelling "poorer".

various speculations.)

I don't know anyone who was happy with Office 97 even when it came out.
