After furious head scratching, TBomb asked:

||
||| It would seem that the Beta2 of Office 2007 isn't compatible with
||| the Beta2 of Vista despite the fact that after installing Vista it
||| suggests that you try the office beta.
||| After installing nothing will run it just goes into an endless loop
||| of "encountered problem, restarting ____" until you uncheck the box
||| that says "restart office". I have let it send error reports
||| though. I also performed the office diagnostics with no errors.
||| After changing all the executibles to xp sp2 compatibility I can get
||| everything but outlook to run. We are using exchange 2003 and when
||| trying to open Outlook it says unable to open default e-mail
||| folders, the information store could not be opened."
||| Any ideas?

So will it work with the new technet plus CD that is going out now?
And if it is compatible with certain versions, which ones? It would seem
from the other posts here that there are other more receint versions that
also have issues. So my concern is that I will get another version, install
it, and end up with the same issues.

Yes, I realize a lot of users are running OL2k7 b2 and Vista b2 without any
problems. But there seems to be a lot of people with specific Exchange,
ol2k7 b2 ON vista b2 problems. No body on this newgroups seems to be able to
help us understand how the correct the problem. All people say is "I got it
to work."

If anyone has had problems like the one discussed in this post AND were able
to fix them, please share your solution.

Thanks!
