I wouldn't recommend it. You need to remember that it's a *beta* version.
There's no support available and there are no guarantees about anything. My
understanding is that a separate partition is recommended if you're putting
it on your regular system. (And even then I wouldn't be too comfortable.)

I have office XP instaled and when i installed 2007 it gave me the option to
keep the older version and run both.... So far no problems

I am impressed with this version, the differences between 2000 and XP were
from my standpoint minimal, then 2002 to 2003 were negative...now it seems
2007 is much better.

It is worth checking out, but make sure you back up your software and
documents first.

I have office 20003 installed on my box. I wish to preview next version

thanks

If you have the option to install Office 2007 Beta 2 on a test machine
I think that would be preferable.

I know that some people have Beta 2 running alongside Office 2003 but
there is always some risk involved. Of course, you won't be able to
run two versions of Outlook on one machine.

I haven't installed side by side yet, personally, but will probably do
so fairly soon, assuming that Beta 2 looks really stable during
initial testing on a test machine.
