Office 2007 demo back to 2003

Bob

I am a registered owner of Office 2003 and recently purchased a
computer that came with a demo version of 2007. I think I like 2003
better. Do I have to uninstall the 2007 demo and then install 2003?
(2003 has never been on the new computer).

Thanks... bob

Yes, uninstall the Office 2007 trial software before installing Office 2003.

I see someone else has the same problem as I do.

I'm replying to this post because its the same as my issue.

windows XP SP2 using MS Office XP.....stupid me decided to download the
trial version of 2007. No problem, but I just didn't like it, so I
uninstalled it.
It did the following:
1. Took my Microsoft Outlook email program and all the emails. So I got out
my XPdisk and reinstalled JUST Microsoft outlook. That worked but I had no
accounts set up and no email or addresses. So I proceeded to setup my emails
(8) and I always click save password, nope, it doesn't save, everytime I
open the program I keep getting the popup window to enter a password, i
can't even CHECK my email.

#2.... Microsoft publisher...while I was using 2007 I made 3 pub files. So
guess what, I'm using Publisher 2002 and it won't read the files.

I called microsoft and they wanted me to pay 49.00 for tech support. Thats
just simply NOT FAIR. They offer this trial download but they don't tell you
what havoc it will create if you decide not to use it. Its just not fair to
expect someone to pay to fix a problem caused by someones' product.

So what do I do now. I can't use email, I can't read publisher files,
luckily I didn't make any Word or Excel documents, can't imagine what the
uninstall would have done to them.

Do I uninstall the entire OFFICE suite and reinstall Office XP?

thanks (I'm venting)

See reply to your other post. No, you do not have the same issue. It
is poor netiquette to hijack other people's questions for your unrelated
problem.
