I uninstalled McAfee VirusScan Enterprise 8.5 and some other software based
on a comment found on www.eventid.net. I cannot find anything that ties this
down. I looked for a log in my "local settings" directory and found nothing.
Has anyone seen this or have some troubleshooting tips to isolate what the
problem is?

Hi S.D.,

Are you logged in as Administrator?

Are you installing from a CD/DVD or from a copy of the CD on a server, or ???

Are you just running Setup directly?

Yes I'm logged in as a domain administrator. I recieve this error when
installing from either a network share or from the CD. I also pulled the
Office 2007 Enterprise CD and tried to install Office 2007 Enterprise and got
the same error.

It would be nice to know what, OutOfBoundsIndex means in case it happens on
someone elses machine.

I re-imaged my laptop and then I was able to install Office 2007. Of
course, then I had to install all the additional programs I need as an
administrator. It was quicker than troubleshooting this problem that has no
documentation.
