I have Office 2007 (Word and Excel are the Home/Student version, an
Access is the commercial version). My OS is Vista Home Premium SP1.
had installed the Home/Student versions first, followed by Access som
time later.
When I open help from any of the applications, the table of contents i
displayed in the left frame, but the main window is XML code. If I clic
on one of the TOC topics, the main window displays it fine. But if
search _offline__help, the results show up as XML.
I can search the online help with no problem, but I need to be able t
view the offline help. I tried a registry edit recommended in anothe
post - changing the default for the class key for .xml to "xmlfile
--but my default value was already set at that value.
