Office 2007 - running from external disk?

I am replacing my PC and have Office 2007 on it. I cannot find the original
CD and am wondering if I can run it from an external disk, because I plan on
pulling the hard drive out of my old PC and using it as an external disk for
my new PC. Will Office 2007 run from it?
