Without knowing what kind of issues you are having with Office, you make it
difficult to answer.

BTW the error message i recieve is::
cannot start microsoft office outlook. cannot initialize microsoft shared
utilities. restart your computer or reinstall microsoft office outlook.

i installed office enterprise 2007 on my computer. it installed fine. after
running it for the first time it became cranky. now when i try to run an
office program the windows installer flashes on then off, the windows
program does not start. i have tried to restore and the restore operation is
finished but fails to complete. i tried to uninstall using the setup disk
but it gives me no options (add/repair/move). i can't install, remove, or
repair. i can't even do a system restore to an earlier time. now when ever
i
start any [program the windows installer flashes and goes off. can someone
help me with this

Thanks

I hsve to ask this- Did you install it from a genuine Microsoft disk?

Did you try uninstalling it through the Control Panel?

i tried to un-install in every way i can think of. i think you are refering
to "add remove programs" it says installation is corrupted please run again
from original CD DVD or installation source. Yes it is from an original
microsoft disk (office2007 enterprise edition).

Thanks

Hi Spinner,

If you're not able to do a System Restore the corruption may be deeper than in Office and in the Windows installation. This is the
'manual' method for removing Office 2007.

I read in the procedures that I may not be able to install office 2007 after
doing a manual remove. Is this true?

Thanks

Hi Spinner,

If you have the Office 2007 CD you should be able to reinstall on the same computer.
