Office 2K and Office Xp on same computer

Can both Office 2000 and Office XP coexist on the same computer (Win2K)?
If so, can you direct me to a description of how one installs Office 2000
after Office XP has already been installed?

You should install earlier version, prior to installing later, using
seperate folders and where required ammending shortcuts for earlier version
prior. eg Word to Word2K to later v.install
