Office 97 Installation with XP

I have a new computer with XP operating system. I have
loaded Office XP (Small Business) without a problem.
Since it does not have Power Point, I attempted to load
Power Point from my Office 97 (Professional Edition). I
keep geting the error message that states that the
installation can not find a suitable addition to update.
Seems like the computer thinks the Office 97 is an
upgrade version and not a complete suite.

Since I had this version installed on an earlier system
that ran ME and the was upgraded to XP, I am at a loss.

Can anyone help?
