Office 97 installation

I have a Office 97 cd that came with an old Dell computer
I purchased some years ago. I now have a second hand HP
pavilion 541c that has office 2000 on it that is not
working properly so I want to uninstall it.

I want to install my Office 97 but when I tried, the
address book for Outlook Express would not load. I also
wonder about what happens with Outlook Express- would I
need to download "6" in order for everything to work
properly?
