Office 97 locking up in Windows 2000

We have just finished up upgrading all of our Windows 2000
pc's to SP4. Now all of our pc's with Office 97 loaded
lock up when opening Office products. When we reload SR-
2, they will work for a week or so and then start locking
up again. Any ideas??

On a *test* machine, try re-loading Office 97 into Office 2000...

We've tried that. Actually we have rebuilt some machines
adding Office 97 after a clean install of Windows 2000.
It usually works fine when we sign in, it happens with
other users. Everyone has administrator rights on the
workstations. We have also tried reinstalling Office
under the users profiles, it still does it. We have come
to a conclusion that the problem may be SP4 for Windows.
We didn't seem to have this problem until we put SP4 on.

Guess time to call Microsoft ... (I'm not sure Office 97 still
considered "supported").
