Office 97 SE upgrade(EULA question)

I finally fixed the "16 bit windows subsystem" error which prevented me from
installing Office 97. I used XP_fix.exe which worked perfectly. The
install procedure required me to demonstrate that I had a qualifiing program
for the upgrade so I used MS Works. My question is -can I continue to use
the MS Works program on my kids computer while using Office on mine? The
EULA is too big to expect an easy answer.

No. The original full version software and the upgrade version software
together are now a single software program and constitute a singe license.
