Office Activation

Think of posting in a public newsgroup like talking to a new doctor. You
can't just say "I don't feel well." You need to tell us as much as you think
could apply. I think it's better to give too much information than not
enough.

Good luck with getting your programs activated.

JoAnn,

Thanks for your reply. I appreciated the fact that Garfield-n-odie's
responded, just not the way he did it. I'll try to be a bit more informative
in the future.

Unfortunately, the solution in the "Activation Wizard does not start in
Office 2003" did not work.

I'm running Windows XP MCE, and have Office 2003 Student and Teacher edition
(U.S.).

I'm also experiencing problems with Windows Media Player. It is taking up
all my CPU time when playing any files. Could the two problems be related??

I know there is an activation phone number somewhere, but because my
activatio wizard does not start, I can't get it. Is there some way I can get
the phone number elsewhere?

I'd appreciate any other avenues anyone has for fixing this problem. I'm
sick of not being able to use my Office software.
