office activation

I have a laptop that came with an OEM copy of office XP. coffee was
spilled
into the machine, so I am combining the screen and top of the case from
that
machine with the bottom assembly from a machine with a broken LCD.
Will I
have a problem when I restore from a HDD backup? I intend to reinstall
from
the original office CDs.

The spillage seems to have effected the mouse click
The OEM copy will likely only install on the PC it was supplied with, ie
mobo etc (the case)
