Office apps delayed opening on first use

Office (any app) seems to take a minute to open on first use of the day.
After you open the first app/document it rolls right along.

Since there is no hourglass or anything though users are calling me to see
if something is wrong. Is there something going on under the hood that first
time that I can stop from happening so it loads quicker?
