I am attempting to activate the assistant(s). I have Microsoft Office 2003
Student/teacher and I am running XP SP2. Each time I attempt installation
after approx. 1/3 of the way through I receive Error 1311 Source File Not
Found. I have tried to contact Microsoft Support but my e-mails don't go
through!! Can anyone help, please? Thank you.

Thank you. I looked at that article, but it didn't seem to fit my problem, I
have also tried Article 821593. My Office 2003 version is installed and
usable, it's just the assistant part that is not working. I click on "show
the assistant", the program tells me I must install the assistant, I click
okay, and then part way through I get error 1311 - Source file not found, and
asks me to check

not that computer literate so have no idea what I need to do. Any idea? Is
it possible to install assistant(s) from the CD?Thanks.
