Folks,
Apologies if this is not the right place (I was not sure whether to place it
on office or outlook forums). Hope someone could help me resolve this
mystery.
I have installed office 2007 enterprise and junk email filter in office
outlook simply refuses to work.
I have checked for the following potential problems (that were mentioned
elsewhere):
(1) My e-mail address is not in “the safe sender listâ€
(2) I removed and reinstalled junk email filter update (did not help)
(3) I tried to use “repair†feature on the installation disc (did not help)
It seems to me that I have the installation problem. For example in the
outlook 2007 manual part that discusses junk e-mail filtering features it
says that commands Tools>Organize should give a list “Using colorsâ€, “Using
Foldersâ€, “Using Viewsâ€, “Junk E-mailâ€. I see the first three but the last
item (Junk E-mail) is completely missing, as if Junk E-mail filter part was
not properly installed.
All the help appreciated (I am getting ca 100 spam messages a day).
