Office failure upon reinstalling Windows XP

I recently had to reinstall Microsoft Windows XP
professional due to a virus. After installation,
Microsoft Office no longer works. This software was
already installed when I purchased this computer. All the
files seem to exist under Program Files, Microsoft
Office. Each time I try and run one, i.e Word, it tells
me to reinstall. However I do not have any cd to do so.

Am I out of luck or is there a way to rectify this
problem.

Even though it was preinstalled on purchase of the PC, the manufacturer
should have provided you with the CD(s) necessary for reinstallation. If
you do not have them, contact them and request them.
