Office installation

I have installed Office Pro 2003 on a new XP machine. Woed
and Excel run ok but Access exits to the Windows screen if
F1 (help) is pressed or hangs if the Help button is used.
It also hangs if the Find command is pressed. I have tried
reinstalling to no effect. Can anyone help ?
